Der FK RFS (Futbola klubs Rīgas Futbola skola) ist ein lettischer Fußballverein aus Riga. Der Verein hat Männer- und Frauenteams.
History
Der 2005 gegründete Verein stieg zur Saison 2016 erstmals in die Virslīga, die höchste Spielklasse in Lettland, auf. Drei Jahre später gewann man durch einen 3:2-Sieg n. V. im Finale über FK Jelgava den nationalen Pokal und qualifizierte sich damit auch erstmals für einen europäischen Wettbewerb.
Der Riga Football Club (lettisch: Rīgas Futbola klubs), kurz Riga FC oder RFS, ist ein lettischer Fußballverein aus der Hauptstadt Riga. Der Verein wurde am 15. April 2007 gegründet und trägt seine Heimspiele im Skonto-Stadion aus.
Riga FC ist einer der erfolgreichsten Fußballvereine Lettlands und hat seit seiner Gründung mehrere nationale Titel gewonnen, darunter 3 lettische Meisterschaften (2019, 2020, 2021), 2 lettische Pokale (2018, 2019) und 2 lettische Supercups (2019, 2021).
Der Verein hat auch auf internationaler Ebene an der UEFA Europa League und der UEFA Europa Conference League teilgenommen. Im Jahr 2021 erreichte Riga FC die dritte Qualifikationsrunde der UEFA Europa Conference League.
